| Job Description: |
| As Network Engineer, candidats are expected to understand issues involved with adminstering and mintaining corporate infrastructures, including network architectures, LAN/WAN,UPS systems, Cisco Routers, CISCO Switches, vlans, routing protocols, , sub- netting, TCP/IP OSPF, EIGRP, bgp and QoS. In addition, Network Engineers will participate with installation, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimization of all network hardware, software and communication links. Network Engineers shall also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in atimely and accurate fashion and provide training to colleagues where required. Strong customer communication skills are requred for thse positions.
The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Firewall and VPN Technologies with hands on design and support experience with the following;
- CCNA / CCNP- or equivalent certified
- Hands-on experience implementing, administrating and troubleshooting network devices
- 5+ years of network administration mandatory
- Expert experience with Cisco routers and switches (all platforms)
- Experience with Cisco and ASA platforms
- Knowledge about VPN technologies (IPsec, MPLS)
- In depth knowledge of TCP/IP
- Knowledge of routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP and OSPF
- VPNs (Site-to-Site, IPSec,
- Remote Access,
- Cloud Security (ScanSafe), Checkpoint / Nokia VPN-1/Firewall-1 NG
- Cisco AnyConnect Client, VPN Client, PIX / ASA Firewalls, VPN Concentrator, Secure ACS, PKI, CA, CSA, Authentication Proxy, CAR Radius Proxy,
- DDoS prevention,
- CBAC,
- 802.1x,
- IOS Firewall and Security
- NBAR,
- Access Lists,
- Kerberos,
- AAA, Radius,
- Cryptography,
- ezVPN),
- DMVPN,
- GET VPN,
- WebVPN,
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- In-depth WAN troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience working independently with service providers
- Strong knowledge of LAN related technologies: STP, vlans, HSRP, VTP etc.
- Working knowledge of HTTP/S, DNS,POP,SMTP,FTP,SNMP, Tacacs + etc
