Qualification and experience:

- MBA (Masters in Business Administration)

- 7 to 10 years relevant experience (Candidates with Experience of handling foreign customers/brands in Home Textile would be preferred)

Skills and Competency:

- To work closely with the Head of supply chain to introduce and apply professional procurement tools and techniques to support the business

- To ensure professional supplier management is applied across the supply base, taking responsibility for a number of suppliers assigned by the Head of procurement and ensuring their performance is maintained and where possible improved

- To negotiate with suppliers to deliver cost efficient merchandise to the company

- To negotiate, implement and manage supply agreements for the company

- Responds to inquiries and complaints regarding merchandise

- Control inventory and checks records of issuance and stocks

- Supervise regular employees during minor portion of employees work time; supervise duties consist of assigning tasks

- Coordination with relevant departments within the organization

- Must have knowledge of sourcing and pricing

- Work on special projects as assigned by the line manager

- Must be results-oriented and a self-starter

- Must be organized, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and can give direction to subordinates

- Must have good oral and written communication skills with good hands-on experience on computer

- Knowledge of ERP is essential
